Wifi 6, the new technological revolution that will expand throughout the world
The association of companies which deals with the operation, security and reliability of wireless interactions between the network and devices (WiFi Alliance) began to certify, during the month of September, this new technology, the sixth, which is presented as a true revolution for the whole world.
According to the Cisco Mobile Visual Networking Index report, global Internet traffic will be 29% in just three years, 51% will be for Wi-Fi and another 20% for mobile. In Spain the percentage of Wi-Fi use is even higher, obtaining a 64%. This new improvement in wireless communication will allow the multiplication of routers and devices prepared for wireless communication, providing more speed, security and traffic density. This new wireless standard offers three to four times the performance of the previous version, sub-millisecond latency and support for up to 70 devices per 100 square meters. The ability to use the 160 MHz channel increases bandwidth, allowing for higher performance with low latency.
Business spaces, educational centers, airports, stations, hotels or shopping centers will be the great beneficiaries of this new and powerful Wi-Fi, given that there were currently certain deficiencies caused, among other issues, by the simultaneous connection of dozens of devices that generated a loss of quality in the service.

Smart and efficient connectivity
This new generation without cables will allow sharing channels to improve the response time to the connection demand, when there are many users wanting to access a Wi-Fi point, obtaining greater stability against interference and creating safer transmissions, with more capacity and with higher quality. Wi-Fi 6 will allow intelligent packets to be generated so as not to collapse the network, being able to determine the importance of the information requested.
Security is another of the great advantages of this new generation, because the access points communicate with each other to connect users on the move and it is the router that is responsible for notifying the mobile that there is new information available, without that he has to look for it. This improves network efficiency and device battery life.
Thanks to this new WiFi, better performance is also achieved for emerging apps such as virtual reality, telepresence or medical care. In short, it is the beginning of a new era to provide better performance in all environments for users, great network capacity for service providers and new ways to promote the most advanced apps.
