Material: End fittings: Nickel-plated brass. Intermediate tube: Stainless steel type AISI304 – 1.4301 (X5CrNi18-10).

Utility: Expansion compensating sleeves allow possible unforeseen axial movements to be absorbed along the generating axis of the tube, as well as expansion or vibrations. Its use is therefore especially indicated in areas where the pipeline runs through areas with joints, as described in section 2.2 of the guide.

Extract from ITC-BT-21: “- At the intersections of rigid tubes with expansion joints in a building, the tubes must be interrupted, leaving their ends approximately 5 centimeters apart from each other, and subsequently spliced using sliding sleeves.

They guarantee a degree of protection IP67 at a working temperature between -25ºC and +150ºC.
